What is a Transaction Key

Transaction keys are an option for forcing accoPLANNING to send data to the database.

If you have an accoPLANNING table that only consists of different business-relevant columns and rows, it is impossible to merge data from the writeback table with the existing fact or dimension tables.

With transaction keys, it is possible to send data that is not explicitly visualized in the accoPLANNING table. Transaction keys are therefore often an identification key that can be used to merge new data inputs from accoPLANNING with other tables.
