If you use dates in your measures within the accoPLANNING grid, they must be formatted using one of the supported date formats. Otherwise, the cell will return blank and the date picker will not function.
Date formats supportet:
mm/dd/yyyy – with and without time
General date
yyyy/mm/dd – with and without time
dd mmmm yyyy - with and without time
In Power BI, you can control and adjust the date format in the Data Model:
Select the relevant date field in the Data view.
Under the Column tools tab, use the Format dropdown to choose the desired date format (e.g., General date,
dd/mm/yyyy
,yyyy-mm-dd
,dd mmmm yyyy
with or without time).This ensures consistency across reports and visuals, regardless of the local or regional settings of end users.
Datepicker:
The datepicker supports HTML5 formats which is date og datetime / datetime-local
